In this recent post about my dining room curtains, I promised better pictures of my West Elm Sunburst Mirror, which is currently residing above the wine cabinet, so here is what I came up with this weekend.
My desire to capture the mirror resulted in me spending about 25 minutes playing around with everything that sits on top of the cabinet. I'm still learning how to piece items together to create a "thrown together, yet somehow still cohesive" look, but after a little bit of playing around, I came up with a layout I like. I think the key is to vary the height and shape of the items on display. How'd I do?
I really love this mirror, and I'm happy that we Jesse finally hung it up. It's another one of my purchases from last February that was hidden downstairs until the night before Jesse's sister and her husband came to visit. Better late than never, right?

I'm not sure how well it works with that lamp in front of it, but as soon as I move my buffet upstairs, I'll probably move the lamp over there. Speaking of the buffet, I still haven't touched it. I'm hoping that I'll be able to start it before May gets here, but we'll see!
In the meantime, I have this cute little mirror to keep my happy ....
I love it! It looks really good!
